Syracuse Herbal SG Feb 2025: The Complexities of Yarrow

After 6 years of hype, we are finally going to tackle this elusive, complex and vital plant in the Western apothecary. Yarrow is perhaps the ultimate trophorestorative herb - its ability to regulate hemostasis (and homeostasis!) in the body is incredible, but at the same time, it can bring forth bleeding just as easily. Why is this? How is one herb able to both encourage and discourage the same bodily process? What does that say about its energetics and its uses?
